Norman Rockwell was born in New York City in 1894. As a boy, he wasn't very athletic but he could draw. The other boys loved having him draw on the streets. He left school early and went to art school.  Hoping to be able to make a career in art, he took any job he could get. But that all changed when he sold his first drawing to the Saturday Evening Post.  The Post was perhaps the most popular magazine of the time and getting the cover was an amazing success.  In fact, Norman went on to illustrate 320 covers for the Post.  Find out about this remarkable artist. I just bet you have seen one of his famous drawings.
